Interiorscape.com Returns as Thriving Industry Forum

Tuesday, February 15th, 2011

Interiorscape.com, once the “go-to” site for the Interiorscape and Indoor Plantscape industry, roared back to life last month as a free and open forum site.

As of today, more than 630 Interiorscapers, Vendors, Suppliers, Florists, Interior Designers, Special Event Planners, Educators and Students have joined the free forum. Dozens of questions, discussions, responses, opinions and project photographs from veterans and “newbies” alike have already been posted.

There are links to industry organizations and upcoming nationwide events. Informative articles discussing current trends and issues in the industry is a future possibility.

NewPro Corp. provided the funds to purchase the Interiorscape.com domain name. The highly popular forum was the first thing we wanted to put up as an easy way to re-introduce it to the public. This is our attempt to bring back something the industry really seemed to miss.

Have you registered as a member yet? If not please do. As we are in the formative stages of re-introductions, we are looking for any and all suggestions to make this site a resource center that helps all members succeed in their business.

Feel free to or use the reply area below if you have a comment or idea.

Interiorscaper Sales Rising, NewPro Expanding Warehouse

Wednesday, January 5th, 2011
Sales to Interiorscapers have improved this last year, and as a result of NewPro’s 16 percent growth in 2010, we are adding a larger warehouse facility.

We've added more room for the products you need!

2010 was also host to the launch of innovative products that allow Interiorscapers to expand or enhance their services, such as the Quadrangle rectangular planter, River Rockafiller plastic river rocks, and no-hole liners. Lechuza also introduced the Rondo and Diamante cylindrical containers, which have already won coveted international design awards.

“Sales of planters to Interiorscapers has increased steadily in 2010 from 2009,” said Fred Scott, NewPro’s Vice President who formerly served as purchaser and manager of installations at one of the largest exterior and interior landscape supply companies in the US. “This is a positive sign for the entire industry. We believe that the worst is over and sales will continue to improve going forward.”

Most NewPro customers need their planters or supplies within days of contacting us. In order to meet that expectation, we carry the largest inventory in the country.

Lechuza’s New “Diamante” Dazzles – Would You Buy It? [VIDEO]

Friday, December 3rd, 2010

We here at NewPro Corp. received a tall cardboard box from Lechuza the other day and when we opened it up we couldn’t decide if the German company sent us their newest container or a work of art. I’m going to be diplomatic and say “both.”

Lechuza's "Diamante"

The 30-inch tall “Diamante” looks like a jewel – and I’m not just picking a flowery adjective. As you can tell by the photo, its surface design is reminiscent of a polished diamond. In fact the word “diamante” originated about 100 years ago in France and means “set with diamonds.”

Similar in size and shape to its “Rondo” cousin, the Diamante is 16 inches in diameter and features an interchangeable plant liner with a recessed frame handle and overflow function along with the familiar Lechuza sub-irrigation system. NewPro is currently evaluating if or when we will carry it – it depends heavily on customer requests and somewhat on industry buzz.

NewPro’s Fall Photo Contest: Win $150 Cash or $100 Credit

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

NewPro’s first photo contest was such a resounding success that I’m announcing another one that focuses on your fall season trade-out projects. Submit project photos for this year — or completed in years past –to be in the running for a $150 cash award. Second and third place winners will receive $100 credit toward a NewPro purchase on our website or phone order.

Wondering what kind of photos we need? Quality! Each image should be hi-resolution (1-3 MB in file size). Images captured by cell and smart phones, generally yield a lower quality image and will not be considered. I recommend using a point-and-shoot or traditional “SLR” camera.

Need some ideas? Your fall trade-outs on tabletops, window planters, floor planters, partition installs, lobby installs are just a few suggestions. When in doubt send it anyway, we want to see it! Photos that feature Gainey Fiberglass and Ceramics or NewPro products such as Vista, PotLuck, Quadrangle and Rockafillers will be given special consideration. Shots of Lechuza containers, Fiberglass Fishbowls and Orchid Bowls, Vista Fine Metallics, and Mega Outdoor Pots are great too.
